1. About us

2. Our business model

GardenPlayCo is an independent online retailer. Customers buy products directly from GardenPlayCo, and GardenPlayCo is responsible for order payment, customer support, delivery, returns and refunds. We do not claim to be a manufacturer, brand owner, affiliated company or authorised reseller unless a product page expressly says so.

3. Product information, price and availability

We take reasonable care to keep descriptions, images, prices and availability accurate. Screen colours and manufacturer packaging can vary. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). The total price, including any applicable tax and delivery charge, is shown before you place the order. Standard UK delivery is free. We may correct an obvious error and will contact you before proceeding where the correction affects your order.

4. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement does not by itself mean we have accepted the order. Acceptance occurs when we confirm dispatch or otherwise expressly accept it. We may cancel before acceptance if a product is unavailable, a price or description contains a material error, payment is not authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud. Any payment taken for a cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and processed through the secure Shopify checkout and its payment providers. We do not add recurring payments, subscriptions or hidden fees unless they are clearly disclosed and accepted before purchase.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver only within the United Kingdom. Standard delivery is free and estimated at 5–7 business days from order confirmation. Further details are in our Shipping Policy.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Our voluntary return window is 30 days after delivery, subject to the conditions in our Return and Refund Policy. UK statutory cancellation and consumer rights also apply. Nothing in these terms restricts rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Faulty goods and warranty

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Manufacturer warranties apply only where expressly stated for a product and do not replace your statutory rights. Contact us for a remedy where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed.

9. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, introduce malicious code, scrape it unlawfully or use it for fraudulent activity. Website content owned by us may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. Third-party trade marks remain the property of their owners.

10. Liability

We do not exclude liability where exclusion is unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses incurred by consumers.

11. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. UK consumers retain any mandatory rights provided by the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which they live and may bring proceedings in the relevant courts.
