Fibre and DSL in one FRITZ!Box
Planning to switch from DSL to fibre, or unsure which connection type will be available? The FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro connects directly to either a fibre or DSL line, so you won't need to swap routers if you change connection technology later.
Tri-band Wi-Fi 7
Combined bandwidth of up to 18,490 Mbit/s across three bands (2.4/5/6 GHz). The additional 6 GHz band enables high data rates with fewer disruptions from other devices, including Multi-Link Operation (MLO) for Wi-Fi 7-compatible devices.
The stated bandwidth is a theoretical maximum value (gross data rate across all bands). Actual usable speed depends on end devices, connection type and environmental conditions.
Smart Home with Zigbee & DECT
Integrated Zigbee wireless standard allows you to add smart devices for energy efficiency, heating and lighting. The built-in DECT base connects up to 6 cordless phones directly to the FRITZ!Box.
Versatile connections
4 Gigabit LAN ports and one 2.5 Gigabit port, usable as either WAN or LAN. Also features telephony via an a/b port, VPN, guest Wi-Fi access, firewall and USB 3.1 port for network storage.
